ABSTRACT
• This project Online Courier Management System has been developed
in PHP, MySQL. Courier Management System which supports
the high accessibility of courier services to the corporate and to the
customer. The system is being used for day to day activities such as
booking a courier, maintain hub details, maintain company details,
process data of businesses and many other things. Courier
Management System can be personalized to fit your business and can
either be used as a complete system or as separate modules. This
idea of the project represents the ‘Courier Service Management
System’.

INTRODUCTION
Courier management is the process of organizing last-mile delivery
operations. Courier management involves scheduling order deliveries
and assigning them to couriers, overseeing operations, planning and
optimizing routes, overseeing vehicles, managing fuel, and handling
courier expense approvals.

The 3 Objectives of Courier Management

There are three main objectives of courier management:

• Support the couriers delivering those products.
• Ensure that customers have a great buying experience, so they
come back for more.

A courier delivery management system, or CMS, is business software

that simplifies courier management and routing. A CMS streamlines all
of the following tasks:

• Courier tracking and scheduling
• Analyzing courier performance
• Package tracking during delivery service

• Online courier service system helps individuals to Choose their delivery type, book items according to
required source and destination, purchase the items and cancel the items

• It generates report on bookings and deliveries by the customers.

• The Courier Service System project provides user interface in to the application through an authentified admin
and also its a modern way of usage to a Courier Service through a computer system.

• The main proposed system of this web application is to remove the item details and check the current status of
the user
