CO FINAL Incomplete Dominance
CO FINAL Incomplete Dominance

Meiosis-produces
variation
Mendel concluded in his experiment with
the pea plants that one allele is always
dominant over the other. This resulted in
just two phenotypes for each
characteristics. When we say “height” that
is the characteristic. When we say “tall” or
“short” those are the possible phenotypes.
And when the tall phenotype is dominant
over the short one, the resulting offspring
will be tall also.
T T
t Tt Tt
t Tt Tt
Homozygous short (tt) which is a
recessive trait and homozygous tall
(TT) which is a dominant trait
produces a heterozygous tall
offspring.

0Solve genetic problems related to
incomplete dominance

(LLEAEL) 1. _______A certain form of a gene.
(OIADMNNT) 2. _________An allele that masks the
phenotype of a recessive allele for the same gene.
(TPEYEONG) 3. ________ The set of genes in our DNA
which is responsible for a particular trait.
(TPEYEOPHN) 4.__________ Observable physical
characteristics from genes and the environment.
(UPTTENN QARESU) 5.___________ A diagram that
shows the possible outcomes of breeding between
two individuals.
