Research design
• The research design i have used is DESCRIPTIVE RESEARCH.
Sampling design

• I have used ‘Structured Questionnaire’ for gathering the required data through contacting

respondent personally.

Source of data collection:

• We have used the primary data source to collect the data regarding investment pattern of

investors of NJ India. The survey was conducted across Kanpur.

Tool and Techniques for Analysis of Data

 Microsoft Excel for the data analysis.


Limitation of the Study

 Due to time constraint sufficient research on all the investment

tools is difficult.

 The survey sample is not very large for analysis.

 The research is confined to KANPUR and does not necessarily

shows a pattern applicable to other parts of the country.

INTERPRETATION
• Based on the data, it appears that a majority of respondents (63.9%)

are familiar with hybrid mutual funds.

• while a significant minority (36.1%) are not familiar with them.

• This suggests that a considerable portion of the surveyed group is

knowledgeable about this type of investment, while there's still a

notable portion that may need more information about hybrid mutual

funds.

INTERPRETATION
1. Preference and Behavior: The majority (75%) opting not to invest in Hybrid

Mutual Funds could imply various things. It might suggest that a significant

portion of the population is either not aware of Hybrid Mutual Funds or

chosen other investment options.

2. Awareness and Education: The data suggests that there may be a need

for increased awareness and education about Hybrid Mutual Funds.

3. Financial Literacy and Advisement: The 75% who haven't invested might not

have access to proper financial advice or lack financial literacy.


Q- What is the main reason for investing in hybrid mutual funds?

INTERPRETATION

• The most prominent motiveted by 25% of individuals, is risk

management. This indicates a desire to balance potential returns.

• Additionally, 20.8% of investors choose hybrid funds for diversification,

to spread their investments across different asset classes.

• The 20.8% who choose hybrid mutual funds for other reasons

• 19.4% of investors prioritize regular income, indicating a preference for

steady returns or dividends.

• 13.9% opt for hybrid mutual funds for capital appreciation, indicating a

desire for long term growth.


Q-How do you perceive the risk associated with hybrid mutual
funds compared to equity-only or debt-only funds?

INTERPRETATION

Based on the provided data,

• 38.9% of the respondents chose "lower risk" as their perception of

hybrid mutual funds.

• 29.2% selecting "not sure." This suggests that a considerable number of

individuals may lack a clear understanding or opinion about the risk level

of hybrid mutual funds.

• 19.4% of respondents perceive hybrid mutual funds to have a higher risk

compared to either equity-only or debt-only funds.

• 12.5% perceive hybrid mutual funds to have the same risk as equity-only

and debt-only funds.


Q-Where do you typically seek information about hybrid mutual fund?

INTERPRETATION

1. Online Financial Platforms (33.3%): A significant portion of people rely on online

financial platforms to gather information about hybrid mutual funds. These

platforms could include websites, financial news portals, investment apps.

2. Financial Advisors (29.2%): Many individuals choose to consult financial advisors

for information and guidance regarding hybrid mutual funds.

3. Friends and Family (26.4%):. Personal referrals and experiences from trusted

individuals play a significant role.

4. Investment Seminars/Workshops (12.5%): Some individuals opt investment

seminars and workshops to gain knowledge about hybrid mutual funds.

5. Others (36.1%): The others include sources like financial books, social media,

financial podcasts, investment newsletters.


FINDINGS
• Majority of the respondent prefer Mutual Fund.

• Young investors are more who invest in hybrid mutual funds as they are ready to take some sort of risk

for high returns whereas people above 60 years are not ready to take risk.

• Postgraduates and graduates are major portion of investors as they know the concept of Hybrid mutual

funds.

• we found that current number of investor in hybrid mutual fumds is less than 25% so we have to

aware the investor.

• The main reason for investing in hybrid mutual funds is risk management, then diversification.
FINDINGS (Conti.)

• Respondent are mostly influenced by online financial platforms while investing.

• Major numbers of investors agree that hybrid mutual funds gives high returns.

• Most of the investors agree that past performance of hybrid mutual funds is important criteria for

selecting mutual fund.

• Investors of major portion say that diversified investment increases average rate of return.

• Over all the satisfaction level of investors is good.


CONCLUSIONS
• Awareness Level: Our study revealed that a significant portion of NJ Wealth customers
are unaware of hybrid mutual funds.

• Educational Initiatives: There is an opportunity for NJ Wealth to implement


educational initiatives to enhance customer understanding of hybrid mutual funds.

• Preferred Communication Channels: Understanding customers' preferred


communication channels is essential for effective dissemination of information
regarding hybrid mutual funds.

• Potential for Growth: Increased awareness has the potential to drive growth in the
hybrid mutual funds segment and benefit both investors and the company.
RECOMMENDATIONS

• NJ should focus on advisors.

• NJ should provide awareness program to customers and motivate them.

• The trend is changing now, people are getting more aware and the knowledge regarding

the hybrid mutual fund investment is also increasing among the people day by day.
• Govt must do some awareness programe with the mutual fund companies in order to make
the people more knowledgably and aware. Media or other source of advertisement can
also play their role in the publicity of these investment alternatives
