Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, AP


Objective:
The Ministry of Panchayat Raj (MoPR), GoI is taking a leadership role in the
process of Localization of Sustainable Development Goals (LSDGs) involving
Central Ministries/Departments, State Government, NITI Aayog and Panchayat
Raj Institutions by evolving 9 thematic approaches to attain SDGs in Rural areas.
The 9 themes are:
I. Poverty free and enhanced livelihoods Village.
II. Healthy Village.
III. Child Friendly Village.
IV. Water Sufficient Village.
V. Clean and Green Village.
VI. Self Sufficient Infrastructure in Village.
VII. Socially Secured Village.
VIII. Village with Good Governance.
IX. Women Friendly Panchayat.

asses and measure the progress of
implementation of localization of SDGs for
evidence-based planning and development.

Data Collection Points


 All Village Level Offices of Line Departments Ex : Anganwadi Centre, Primary or Secondary schools, Primary
Health Centres, Health Sub Centres etc.

Data Uploading
 Digital Assistants and panchayat Sectretaries after taking signed copies of Village level functionaries will
upload the data into PDA Portal.
Data Verification / Validation at Mandal Level
 All Mandal Level officers are of Line Departments are appinted as “ Nodal Officers”

 Log- in credentials will be provided to the Nodal Officers of concrned Line Departments by the Mandal
Parishat Development Officer(MPDO) for Data Validation.

Data Monitoring at Divisional Level


 Divisional Development Officer (DLDO) at Divisional Level will monitor / co - ordinate with all Mandals for
uploading Data.

Data Validation at Distrct Level

 At District Level under the District Collector the Data Validation Team will function with Chief Executive
Officer, Chief Planning Officer & District Panchayat Officer and all District Heads of line Departmens

Role Assignment

1. Identification of data points available with/at Gram Panchayat

In order to create enabling environment and developing
structured mechanism and approaches for ease of data
collection and validation process the Line Departments and
Dept. of Planning are requested to extend their full support to
Support PR & RD dept. So as to roll out the programme in smooth and
successful manner.
