husk after the process of threshing.
Threshing is the process of separating
grain from the chaff.

Decantation is the process of separation

solid or liquid below. The process can be
carried out by tilting the mixture after
pouring out the top layer.

immiscible liquids are placed in
a separatory funnel, two layers
are seen. The denser solvent
