Think about the last time you saw live music or watched a live concert online. What
artist did you see? What was your experience like?
PREPARE

Ask your classmates questions about their childhood.
Use the topics below and “did you use to” + verb.

Comparing TV shows and movies
Read the sentences. Restate them using “(not) as… as.”
1 The first season was better than the second season.

6 The scenery and the music were both beautiful.

comparing the two TV series or movies. Listen and
decide which one you would like to try watching.

One of my favorite science fiction series is Stranger


Things. It’s about a group of young teenagers who go
searching for their friend in a strange world. Another
series I like is The Umbrella Academy. It’s not as
serious as Stranger Things, but…

I don’t like series that are really serious, so I


think I would like The Umbrella Academy
more. It sounds really interesting!
