Dictionary – is a book that provides
definitions, spelling,
pronunciations, etymology, parts of
speech, guide words, and
sometimes syllables of words.
Uses of Dictionary
1. We use a dictionary to look up words.
2. You may use dictionary to find the meaning
of words.
3. For example, when you do not know the
meaning of a word in a story.

personal computers, tablets, and smart
phones to navigate these online sources.
Internet connection is needed for online
sources like online dictionaries.
