1976- Apple was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak & others. 1978- Recruited Mike Scott as CEO which lead to several turbulent years
1984- Introduced Macintosh which later became the first commercially successful small computer
1985- Following an internal power struggle Jobs left Apple & founded NeXT, computer platform development company. Apple brought NeXT in 1996 & Jobs returned to Apple was its CEO till 1997
Career
1986 - Jobs bought The Graphics Group (later renamed Pixar ) from Lucusfilm & remained CEO until its acquisition by the Walt Disney company in 2006 Jobs is currently a member of Disney's Board of Directors.
