ETHICS
Ethics: What does it derived from?
 It derived from Greek word 'ethicos' meaning characters and
manners
 Character of a person expressed write or wrong conduct of
action
 Set of moral principles prescribing code, explains what is
good and right or bad and wrong.
VISUAL ETHICS,
 Visual ethics is an emerging interdisciplinary field that brings
together religious studies, philosophy, photo and video
journalism, visual arts, and cognitive science in order to
explore the ways human beings relate to others ethically
through visual perception.
 For example:

 how do representations in newsmedia deploy cultural codes of


race, class, ethnicity, gender, and so on in order to create
distance from or empathy with specific people and groups.
WHAT ARE GOOD MANNERS?

 Courtesy, politeness or having good manners are all


about respecting others and yourself.

KINESICS

• Kinesics is the interpretation of body motion communication


such as facial expressions and gestures, nonverbal behavior
related to movement of any part of the body or the body as a
whole.

• The equivalent popular culture term is body language. In body


language, a person transmits the message by moving various
parts of his body such as face, eyes, heads, hands, etc.

WHAT IS FILM?

• film, also called a movie or motion picture, is a series of


still images Which, when shown on a screen, creates the
illusion of moving images.

• First film was the French film which was a silent movie in
1890's
• Core assumption of ethics and laws of Islamic republic of
Pakistan
• As Pakistan is the only country which comes into being
on the base if Islam.
• According to the wording of Quid e Azam
‘’Pakistan will be the labor try to practice Islamic system"
• The objective to generate revenue distracted the attention of
our media persons.
• The battle to get high ratings through sensitizing the news
story and ultimately obtaining a huge amount of TV
commercials have severely defocused our newsmen.
• Footage of very sensitive materials are at times used
repeatedly to grab public attention.
FASHION INDUSTRY

• What is Fashion?
• A popular trend, esp. in styles of dress, ornament, or behavior
• IN 1943, the first New York Fashion Week was held with one
main purpose.
• the fashion industry refers to an aesthetic expression to meet
the demands of new trends for what should be worn,
especially in accessories, clothing, hairstyle, footwear,
lifestyle, makeup, and body proportions.
