Most of the people who were visting the store regularly are students(60%) and
next to students is working professionals(12%), followed by the locals(20%)
and house wives(8%) as per the survey report.
INTRODUCTION
 A perceptual map is a chart used by market researchers and businesses to understand how
target customers view and feel about there brand or product.
 Perceptual mapping enables companies to better understand their customer: the who, why,
how and what of their behaviour.

OBJECTIVE
 To understand the retail ecosystem of bhubaneswar with respect to the top performing retail
brands.
 To identify competitors on selected parameters of retails.
 To identify opportunities for repositioning.
METHODOLOGY

 The data, which is collected are of first time, and fresh in nature, and happen to be

original in character and are done through field survey. There are some methods

that adopted for collecting primary data which includes:

• Interview

• Observation

 Outbound of clothes from bean.
 Pinning of clothes in the inventory.
 GRT (Goods Return Transfer) of winter stock done.

 Getting the knowledge about seasonal budget of the store.

The survey that has been done shows that


 Customers perceive that V2 retails products are of value for money.
 Also provides variety of products as comparison to its compitiors .
 Renders good product quality as comparison to the money that the customer pays.
SUGGESTIONS
 More Home Brands & Private Level Brands Are Recommended To Be Introduced.

 More No. Of Size ( Up to 3xl ) Must Be Available In The Store.

 Separate Section For Plus Size Garments Seeks Presence In The Store.

 More Range Of Home Appliances Products Must Be Added To The List.

 Sitting Area Should Be There For Children And elderly People Who Are Visiting Store.

 Proper Setup Of Customer Help Desk Including Customer Feedback Register.

 One Men Trial Room And One Kids Trial Rooms Are Required In The Store .

 One Rest Room For Staffs.
