 Transition zone between urban
and natural region.
 In this case, the fringe zone of
urban hills and rivers is a narrow
strip of available land, with varied
relief and limited depth.
 The landscape layout is mostly
dot and linear distribution.

association and spatial
integration between the city and
fringe area.

visual and environmental
aspects of the fringe area.

Criticism

 As the residential area is located between river and


mountains, the dumping and waste of the city can
pollute the nature without proper management.

 The population will grow overtime, but this limited


facilities and residential area does not have the
capacity to hold it.
