1. Installation of capacitor on every motor for improvement in power factor
2. Monitoring of Idle running of motor .
3. Monitoring of idle running of transformer.
4. Use of variable speed drives for large variable load.
5. Checking of under voltage and over voltage condition .
6. Optimize Air Compressors.
7. Schedule Shut-Downs and Start-Ups.
8. Demand Side management & Use of renewal energy

Following points may be consider to reduce PNG Consumption in Boiler:

1. Monitoring of Stack Temperature (Greater than 200 Degree Celsius has the opportunity of recovery of waste Heat) .
2. Feed Water & Primary Air preheating using Waste Heat Recovery Device(Ex. Recuperator/Economizer).
3. Proper Combustion with in the boiler chamber(Incomplete combustion can decrease the efficiency of Boiler)
4. Reduce Excess air.
5. Reduce Radiation and Convection losses.
6. Variable Speed Control for Fans, Blowers and Pumps
