Project Description - The project consists of a single-floored, pre-

engineered metal building structure serving as a main storage and warehouse
facility, surrounded internally on three sides by 32 mini storage spaces . It
also includes labor accommodation building, auction and open storage areas.
The built-up area is approximately 70,351 m².

Engineering Services - Design & Construction Supervision

Project Description - The project consists of a building block made up of 2 basement levels housing the
MEP services, shops and 785 car parking spaces; a ground floor with an entrance hall, a commercial area,
a cafeteria and MEP service rooms; four podium floors dedicated to retail units with an additional car
parking; and 28 office floors that provide open-plan office spaces.
The fifth floor, a podium roof level, features recreational facilities including a health-club, a gymnasium,
a cafeteria and a business center.
The scope of work includes external works such as hard paving, landscaping and utilities infrastructure.

Produce 7.8 MTPA Sub cooled LNG at approximately -161 C which rundown
directly to storage and it has three modules

• Constraints : The contractor carried out a ±15 % cost estimate for the project to
enable the final investment (FID) to be made .

• Assumptions : the following options were considered for refrigeration

downstream of MCHE

turbine drivers for the main refrigerant compressors, and hybrid sea water
and air cooling.

Deliverables

• Background : This project aims to produce sub cooled LNG at

approximately -161 °C which is rundown directly to storage.
Utilities are provided by adjacent facilities .

• Objectives : to increase production capacity by approximately

20%

• Benefits : deliver an economically and technically feasible

approach to delivering increased LNG output from Petronas’
MLNG Dua facility to meet the growing demand for LNG
