Texts in relation to bodies, space, and time
• Bodies are ourselves (critical readers)
• Texts are written in a particular time meaning that the time we are in
when reading a text and the time when the text was written.
• Space refers to both abstract and real concept of rooms which allow
us to position ourselves and things that we want to be there, move
things to a certain direction, claim a space or a spot that we think is
the most convenient, or give away the space to other people.
Answer these following questions:
• Who are the people mentioned in the text? What are their positions?
• Identify any cause-effect, comparison-contrast, fact-opinion
• Identify any information related to the body of the text
• Identify any information related to the space of the text
• Identify any information related to the time of the text

• What can you conclude from the information related to body, space,
and time dimensions?
• How do you put the issues addressed in the text with the society you
are living in?
• What could raise a hot debate?
• What is your stance?
