Ratio of many numbers
Ratios can also be used to make comparisons among
three or more quantities.

For example, if x = 18, y = 27 and z = 54, then


x : y : z = 18 : 27 : 54 = 2 : 3 : 6

From the above, we can deduce that

x:y=2:3
y:z=3:6=1:2
x:z=2:6=1:3
