 A. Meals in hospital
Hospital food is healthy food designed by a
doctor or nutritionist according to the patient’s food
portion requirements.The goal is to meet the
nutritional needs of patients during the hospital stay.

The percentage of nutrient content of food from

the availability of nutrient content in hospital food is
15.2% energy, 15% protein, 12.8% fat, 14.1%
carbohydrates. Internal medicine treatment subjects
had >20% leftover staple food, vegetable side
dishes, and vegetables compared to obstetric care.
 The type of food served
1. Normal food
Given to patients who do not require special food because of their
illness.
2. Soft food
Given to certain postoperative patients and patients with high body
temprerature.
3.Filter food
Given to patients who haveundergone certain operations, acute
infections, abdominal typhus.
4. Liquid food
Given to patients before and after surgery ,when they lose
consciousness,and in conditions of nausea and vomiting .

Many factors affect health including knowledge and
attitudes of the community in responding to a
disease.
