HARYANA

 Haryana is one of the 28 states of India located at the northern part of


our country.
 The rich Haryanvi culture is characterised by the hookahs and the charpoys,
the vivid fairs and the swying paddy fields
 Popularly known as 'The Home of Gods', this vibrant state has a bountiful
culture, heritage, festivals, folklores and a vibrant landscape.

 Haryana's culture is reflective of its “folklore”.Submerged in the


rich cultural heritage of the Vedic Period, the mystical state of
Haryana stands out from the crowd

 Haryana is one of the wealthiest states in India and is one of the
most economically developed regions in South Asia.
FLORA AND FAUNA

 In Haryana: During the monsoon a carpet ofGrass Covers The Hills.


 Chief Trees Like Mullberry, eucapltus, pine , keekar , sheesham , bobool,
are some trees found here . The spieces of fauna found in the state
haryana includes black buck, nigai , panther , fox , mongoose , jackal ,
and wild dog.
 Today only about 3.5 % Of Total Area is Remained so.
 Altough Haryana State is of Deficient in Natural forests.But it has rich
Bio Divesity which makes it suitable for many of wildlife particular and
migrating birds live.

central stretch of the indian peninsula on the high deccan
plateaue.
 It is the eleventh - largest state and the twelfth –most
populated state in india.

CULTURE AND HERITAGE
 Culture​'South of North and North of South,' Telangana State has
long been a meeting place for diverse languages and cultures.
 It is easily the best example for India's composite culture, pluralism
and inclusiveness
 Telangana is a storehouse of creativity which is prevalent in its
collection of art and craft.
 Dhokra or Dokra is a famous craft which is also known as Bell
Metalcraft.
 Bidri craft is said to have brought in by migrants
 Dry coconut, red chillies and tamarind along with spices form the
main ingredients of Hyderabadi cuisine making it stand apart from
North Indian recipes.
FLORA AND FAUNA
 Telangana State is known for its rich heritage in biological diversity
distributed in 9 agro climatic regions.
 Among the flora, the state harbours a total of 2,800 taxa belonging to
1,051 genera under 185 families.
 This accounts for 16% of the Angiosperms known from India. Of
these, 2,071 species belonging to 150 families
 Among the fauna, Telangana State is rich with 108 species of
mammals that include Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Giant Squirrel,
Hyena, Fox, Wild Dog, Wild Boar, Indian Bison(Gaur), Spotted
Deer, Barking Deer, Black Buck, Four-horned Antelope, Blue Bull,
Sambar, Mouse Deer, Honey Badger, Civets,Jungle Cats, Otter,
Pangolin, Bats, Tree Shrew, Common Langur,etc.
