Design Principle
• NCS-HSPL

Inner radius of the spiral slit, = 1.6um


Width of the spiral slit, = 200nm
Width of nano corral slit, = 200 nm
Smaller radius of nano corrals slit, = 0.61 um
Larger radius of nano corrals slit, = 0.80 um

Conclusion

• NCS structure pulls the near field focal spot generated by the
Archimedes Spiral Lens out to far field.

• The far field light intensity increases two-fold at 3um above the
surface of the lens.

• Total intensity of NCS-HSPL enhances due to cumulative intensity of


NCS and SPL.
