Valparaiso Region:
The Valparaíso Region is one of the sixteen regions
into which Chile is divided, whose capital is the city
of Valparaíso, seat of the National Congress and one
of the main ports of Chile. Located in the center of
the country, it limits to the north with the Coquimbo
Region, to the east with the provinces of San Juan
and Mendoza belonging to Argentina, to the southeast
with the Metropolitan Region of Santiago, to the
south with the O'Higgins Region and to the west with
the Pacific Ocean.
