Person + be going to + verb base form


+ complement.
Person + be not going to + verb base form
+ complement.
THE AUXILIARY (HELPING VERB) OF THE

WHEN YOU ARE MAKING NEGATIVE

You can contract the pronoun (I, you,
she, etc.) with the verb Be, but if you
have a noun (John, Sandy, my dog, me
and Lucy, etc.) make the contraction
with the verb Be and the negative.
FOR EXAMPLE:

We’re not going to travel.

Jane and Susan aren’t going to travel.
