Muhammad Yunus was born in 1940 in Bengal Province of Bangladesh. Completed his BA and MA in economics from Dhaka University and Ph.D from Vanderbilt University, US. Started the Grameen Bank, Bank for the Poor, in 1983. In 2006 won the Noble Peace Prize for Peace In March 2006 worlds first social business Grameen Danone came into existence as visioned by the author.

The style of writing is very simple. Language is easy to grasp with no complicated words. The entire book is in a narrative style where the author narrates everything right from the starting, How Grameen Bank was started to his vision of seeing poverty only in Museums around the world.

The main theme of this book is how social business can make the world free of poverty. The author starts with the establishment of Grameen Bank and how it has brought changes in life of Bangladeshis. The book is on social business almost half the book discusses about Grameen Bank and other Grameen companies. People already know about Grameen Bank. Could have shortened the first half and should have restricted more to social business.
