Football
• It is not strange, but in our country, as in the whole
world, the first step is occupied by football. This game
has become a favorite for many, regardless of age and
status. Both children and adults, play football. The
popularity of this sport spreads throughout the
country, and teams such as "Dynamo", "Shakhtar"
and "Zorya" participate in the most prestigious
European competitions: the Champions League and
the Europa League every year. At the same time, the
national team ranks 24th in the FIFA ranking. It
should also be noted that the main team of the
country, according to the results of the last Euro
draw, entered the eight best teams of the continent.
 Boxing
• Having such outstanding fighters as the
Klitschko brothers, Oleksandr Usyk,
Oleksandr Gvozdyk, Vasyl Lomachenko
and others, it is not surprising that boxing
occupies one of the leading places in the
ranking of popular sports in Ukraine. At
the same time, it should be noted that
this type of martial arts is revered not
only in our country, but also throughout
the world. Just like Ukrainians, Americans,
Poles, Englishmen, Mexicans, Romanians
and Filipinos are interested in boxing.
• The popularity of this sport began in the middle of the last century,
when it began to gather huge audiences of fans. For many, boxing is a
purely male activity. But the competition among women also arouses
genuine interest among spectators. Very big money is concentrated in
this sport, here the reward for victory can reach several million dollars.
But in any sport, money is not the main thing, in boxing, athletes
compete for championship belts of various organizations:

• Answering the question "what is the most popular sport in Ukraine?" it
is impossible not to mention purely winter sports. Biathlon can be
classified as an extreme sport. And even despite the fact that it is a
