Hi Kindergarteners and their families!

Welcome to 2024! My name is Dena Dupuie, and I will be your

child’s 3rd-grade inclusion teacher. I have been fortunate to work
with children with special needs in various settings. I have provided
support as an Instructional Assistant, volunteer, and foster/adoptive
parent.

During our first days together, I will review class expectations of

engagement, listening, and respect. All of these will positively
contribute to your child’s growth and development.

Projects, worksheets, quizzes, tests, and presentations will be

graded as follows: E-Exceeds Expectations, M-Meets Expectations,
S-Still Developing, and N-Needs Improvement. Homework will be
assigned Monday-Thursday and due at the start of class each day.
Your student will have opportunities to resubmit assignments for
grade improvement up to 3 days after the due date.
