Usage:
If the statement is in positive construction, the
question tag must be in the negative form.
If the statement is in negative construction, the
question tag must be in the positive form.

Usage:
Most questions tag are falling intonation. A question tag with a falling
intonation shows that the speaker thinks his statement is true. He expects
the answer is an agreement for his statement.
Question tag with a rising intonation are sometimes used. When the rising
intonation is used, the answer does not have to agree with the speaker‘s
statement.
Example: a. Solo is the biggest city in Java, is it? …. No, it isn’t.
b. Jakarta isn’t the biggest city in Java, is it? …. Yes, it is.

Event 1
