1. Speaking English Please speak English whenever possible.
2. Phones: We don't want to see or hear them. Unless your teacher says you
may have it out, it should be in your bag (not on the desk).
3. Tardiness and Absences: This will be tracked and reported. Consequences
include talking to your parents.
4. TEAMS platform - always check your account for announcements,

5. Portfolio / Checklist- always organize it as this is being checked every now

policy and then.


6. Participation/Effort: This includes being prepared for class with your
materials and homework ready. You are expected to pay attention and
complete the work given in class to your best ability.
7. Cooperation: Follow directions as soon as they are given and in a nice,
courteous manner. Disruptive behavior includes talking to your neighbor,
laying your head on your desk, moving around while the teacher is teaching,
interrupting the teacher, and more. This is disrespectful and is not
acceptable

Global Perspectives aims to:

Ø prepare you for engagement with a rapidly changing world,

Ø broadening your outlook through the critical analysis of and


reflection on, issues of global significance.

•A perspective is a viewpoint or standpoint, it may be
common throughout the world or maybe different even
between two classmates.

•Perspectives tend to be colored by the circumstances in


which people live, i.e. political, ethical, cultural, religious,
educational, etc., backgrounds that they have.
