3. Wear appropriate protective gear and
equipment.

- Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL)
*changes direction rapidly, twists without moving the feet, slows down
abruptly, misses a landing from a jump
- Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL)
*direct impact from the outside of the knee joint (football)
