Enjoy !!!
The Big Ben
Big Ben is the nickname
of the great clock bell in
the northern tower of
Westminster Palace in
London. This name was
used in both the bell
and the clock and even
the clock tower.
The Crystal Palace

After the exhibition, it was decided to

relocate the Palace to an area of South
London to be rebuilt on Penge Common, at
the top of Penge Peak next to
Sydenham Hill, an affluent suburb of large
villas. It stood there from 1854 until its
destruction by fire in 1936. The nearby
residential area was renamed Crystal Palace
after the famous landmark including the
park that surrounds the site, home of the
Crystal Palace National Sports Centre,
which had previously been a football
stadium. The park still contains
Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins's
Crystal Palace Dinosaurs which date back to
1854.
The Royal patrol

The guards are

dressed in red
blouse, black
trousers, black
shoes, they wear
big swords, bear
fur cap and the
leader carries a
flag.
The British Museum
The British Museum is
dedicated to human history,
art and culture, and is
located in the Bloomsbury
area of London. Its
permanent collection,
numbering some 8 million
works, is among the largest
and most comprehensive in
existence and originates
from all continents,
illustrating and
documenting the story of
human culture from its
beginnings to the present.
The London dungeon
The London Dungeon is a tourist
attraction in London, England,
which recreates various gory and
macabre historical events in a
gallows humour style. It uses a
mixture of live actors, special effects
and rides. Opening in 1974, the
attraction was initially designed as a
museum of macabre history, but the
Dungeon has evolved to become an
actor-led, interactive experience.
The Dungeon is operated by
Merlin Entertainments. In 2013, the
London Dungeon moved from its
premises on Tooley Street to a new
location in County Hall next to the
London Eye.
London market
Markets in London have
their origins in the
middle ages and ancient
charter; set up to serve the
population of the
City of London. Over time,
some emerged as
wholesale markets serving
specific market segments —
such as the sale of
vegetables, meat, or fish.
With an expanding
metropolis in the 18th and
19th centuries, street
markets were set up to meet
the needs of the new
suburbs.
The roads in london

The cars
circulate
on the left
side of the
road.
River Thames
Its tidal section, reaching up
to Teddington Lock,
includes most of its London
stretch and has a rise and fall
of 7 metres (23 ft). Running
through some of the driest
parts of mainland Britain
and heavily abstracted for
drinking water, the Thames'
discharge is low considering
its length and breadth: the
Severn has a discharge
almost twice as large on
average despite having a
smaller drainage basin.
Tower bridge
Tower Bridge is a combined
bascule and
suspension bridge in London
built in 1886–1894. The
bridge crosses the
River Thames close to the
Tower of London and has
become an iconic symbol of
London. Tower Bridge is one
of five London bridges now
owned and maintained by
the Bridge House Estates, a
charitable trust overseen by
the
City of London Corporation.
In London, the
people stops
their work at 5
P.M. and drinks a
coup of tea.
