Babbie,
“Research is a systematic inquiry to describe, explain, predict and
control the observed phenomenon. Research involves inductive and deductive
method.

Research is a substantial piece of academic writing, usually done as a requirement

for a class, in which the author does independent research into a topic and writes a
description of the findings of that research. Research is an essay in which you
explain what you have learned after exploring your topic in depth. In a research
paper, you include information from sources such as books, articles, interviews,
and internet sites. You also use your own ideas, knowledge, and opinions.
