ABSTRACT

The Kisaan Sahayak Portal is a web-

based agriculturalplatform that connects farmers with a range of services fro
m planting to harvesting, linking them with nearby service providers. The we
b application’s core objectives include establishing a seamless
digital bridge between farmers and service providers, facilitating
convenient access to advanced technology for farmers. The user-
friendly web application allows farmers to list their service needs
and browse providers’ profiles. This approach simplifies connections, deliver
s cutting-edge technology solutions, and enhances agricultural practices.
Promising results include improved productivity and crop
yield through modern techniques, fostering a sense of community among
users. In summary, the Kisaan Sahayak Portal project successfully bridges t
he gapbetweenfarmers and service providers, promoting accessibility to ad
vanced agricultural technology and collaboration within the sector.

LIMITATION OF EXISTING SYTEM

1. Ineffect Communication: Limited interaction, relying on phone calls or visits.

2. Lack of Info: Farmers lack crop guidance and market insights.
3. Limited Service Providers: Few providers may lead to delays.
4.Geographical Constraints: Some regions lack access to services.
5. Tech Barrier: Limited tech skills affect platform use.
6. Security Concerns: Worries about data protection.
7. Lack of Feedback: No efficient way to improve services.
8. Lack of Information about Growing Crops: The current system might not adequately pro
vide educational resources and guidance on cropcultivation techniques, hindering farme
rs' ability to maximize crop yields and adopt modern technology.

Agriculture Consumer Preferences in the Purchase
of Agri-Food Products: Implications for
the Development of Family Farms

LTCE/BE 7
PROBLEM STATEMENT & OBJECTIVE

• Lake of labors for farming work and Unavailability of farming service provider.
• Farmers are not able to purchase high-cost farming equipment because of low income.
• Farmers do not get farming services on time by service provider in high demand seaso
n because of which some time crops get damaged.
• Local service providers have created monopoly and charging high cost for farming
services from the farmer.

• Objective:
• The main goals of the Kisaan Sahayak Portal project are twofold: first, to establish
a robust digital interface that connects farmers in need of agricultural services with
nearby service providers and second to ensure that farmers gain cost-effective access
to state-of-the-art technology solutions without leaving their farms.

SCOPE

• Market Expansion :
Expanding to cover a broader range of services and regions is crucial. This
allows the website to attract more users and service providers, increasing
its overall utility and reach.
• Monetization:
Developing sustainable revenue models, such as subscription plans,
transaction ,fees, or premium features, is essential to ensure the website's
financial viability and continued growth.
• Mobile App Development:
As mobile usage continues to grow, having a mobile app can significantly
enhance user engagement and accessibility, catering to the preferences of a
mobile-centric audience.
• Data Analytics:
Leveraging data for insights into user behavior and market trends is highly
valuable. It can help improve the user experience, guide business decisions,
and create additional value for users and service providers.

success.

5. User Profiles: Basic user profiles with names and profile pictures.
6. Technology: Web-based platform with a simple, intuitive user interface.
7. Monetization: Free for users; service providers pay a small fee for premium
listings.

This simplified system would provide a straightforward solution for connecting

consumers and local service providers. It minimizes complexity by focusing on
core features, making it easy to develop, maintain, and use. It can serve as a
starting point, and additional features and complexity can be added as needed in
the future based on user feedback and evolving requirements.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, the web application we've presented today

is a powerful tool that not only fosters meaningful
connections between farmers and service providers but
also serves as a valuable source of agricultural
information. By bridging the gap between these two crucial
stakeholders, our platform empowers farmers to access
the services they need and acquire essential knowledge to
enhance crop yields. Simultaneously, it offers service
providers a vast, untapped market for their expertise and
solutions, fostering their business growth. This symbiotic
relationship between farmers and service providers not
only benefits individuals but contributes to the overall
prosperity of the agricultural sector. Together, we are
cultivating a brighter and more sustainable future for
agriculture. Thank you for your attention.
