A & An = Indefinite article
We use a/an only with a
singular noun

A/An vs The vs Zero Article
We use A/AN in a generalization.
e.g.; A car stops right in front of us.
(Here, a car can mean ‘any cars.’)
We use THE to mention a particular/unique thing.
e.g.; The sun is shining brightly.
(There is ’only one’ sun in our solar system.)

We use ZERO ARTICLE when we face


uncountable/plural noun in a generalization.
e.g.; Love makes the world go round.
(Here, the love means ’love’ in general.)

After Simba left his pride, he has ____ new
family. Even though they are not lions, they were
very kind. These two companions are are Simon

Since Simba was accompanied by them, he
