AFTER WHOM THE STREET IS NAMED?

Yurii Kondratiuk it`s his fake name, the

real one is Shargei Oleksandr. If you
don`t know it before, I think you
surprised. He was born in 1897 in
Poltava, Ukraine.

 He is Ukrainian by nationality, worked as an

engineer and was one of the pioneers of rocket
technology and the theory of space flights.
 ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF STREET

Sadly, but Oleksandrivsʹkyy Skver is

the first and the last park at the Yuriia
Kondratiuka Street. Here located
some trees such as birch, poplar,
maple, linden, oak, ash and white
cedar alley.
 EXHIBITION
• Also, Poltava Museum of
Aviation has the exhibition
"Yurii Kondratyuk - little-
known pages of the inventor's
life. Last years". Here you can
learn something new about not
only his creations, but the
exhibits tell about the difficult
and tragic life of a scientist
against the background of that
era.
 OTHER PLACES TO VISIT:

Firstly, you can visit Hospital n.8 Diagnostic

centre.
The hospital was opened in 1989. Today, the hospital
is the most powerful in Kyiv. It contains 750 beds.
Then, you can take a cup of tea in cafe or go
shopping.
