 •Project Title : ATM Security System

 •Project Domain: IOT Cloud Computing & Artificial Intelligence
 •Project Group Members:
Problem Statement:

 To Implement a IoT based ATM Security System using transfer learning

to enhance the level of security by creating a smart and reliable
decision making source for bank employees.
Introduction:

 Modern ATMs are implemented with high-security protection measures. They

work under complex systems and networks to perform transactions. The data
processed by ATMs are usually encrypted, but hackers can employ discreet
hacking devices to hack accounts and withdraw the account's balance. As an
alternative, unskilled robbers threaten bank patrons with a weapon to loot their
withdrawn money or account.

EFFECTIVENESS OF ATM SECURITY MECHANISMS: A REVIEW ANALYSIS

In the modern hasty word, Banks and ATM (Automated Teller Machine)s are inevitability possessions of all humans. With the use of ATMs people
can do several financial transactions and related activities day to day life. The common authentication mechanism uses in ATM is card with PIN
(Personal Identification Number) for the secure transactions since long time ago. But nowadays cause of the higher advancement in technology
tends alert and fear among banks and ATM users thus it is important to overcome the problem to safe ATM activities. In this study, analyzes the
recent and popular authentication mechanisms related to ATM security and recommends better solution from the past studies to increase ATM
security in the process of authentication and to protect from illegal physical activities at the ATM.

Advanced ATM Security System

In order to improve people’s comfort, safety it is very useful to monitor the ATM section. Now a day’s mat lab technology will be increasing face
authentication process. And embedded platform used to access the real time application. Here both will be done in a major thing. And also
sensors are interface with controller. This is called brain of the embedded system. This everything used to present life style of the human
Literature review:
 IOT Based Progressive Anti Theft ATM Security System
 Automated Teller Machines ATMs are used with one type of approach, usually with cash withdrawals. ATM
customers use a lot of ATM facilities and make billions of transactions. In the meantime, Due to inadequate of
security, the thefts in the ATMs are also disproportionate. The main objective of our analysis is to minimise the
number of ATM robberies. N of this assignment, we use the camera to recognise the face. The IR will activate, the
buzzer will warn the sound, and the corresponding alert message will be sent to the assigned user if any of the
sensors including temperature.
 A Review Paper on ATM Security
 Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is a mechanized raconteur machine that is an automated gadget that serves the
media in transmissions in which a monetary entity provides consumers with access to budgetary alternatives in a
free space without a human assistant or bank worker's involvement. The client is recognized in ATMs by embedding
a plastic biometrics dependent confirmation that provides different favorable circumstances in other configuration
schemes, replacing the validation and token-based validation of the secret term. Biometrics assumes a significant
job in the construction of Automated Teller Machine (ATM), Online-Commerce, E-banking, authorization

The smart ATM Security system continuously takes care of the Machine
by tracking different parameters and can update to the user for better
decision making loop

This system will help you keep track of the multiple parameters and
ensure safety of your machine while offering a remote mobile app view
for monitoring the safety changes

Aim & Reduces your costs by increasing efficiency

Objective
Reduce the risk of ATM machine and getting the necessary attention for
keeping the Machine SAFE

Manages planning and forecasting for cash requirement by analyzing

realtime cash withdrawal
This system can be used for tracking:

ATM Machines

Bank Safe
Scope
Gold Safe in Jewellery shop

Domestic Safes

We can integrate certain other features to increase the

convenience of the user and as per their needs.
Advantages & Disadvantages

Advantages Disadvantages
Helps take smart decision to bank employees Increased unemployment rates
saves time and effort increased system maintenance cost
good for ATM safety and productivity highly dependent on internet
Minimizes human work and efforts complex system for maintenance

Absence of International standards for reliable

improved efficiency to implement 24*7 Service communication
The device parts ay be expensive as this type of
devices are very few and hence they might cost
reduced use of many electronic devices as one more for maintenance
device does the job of many other devices
Objective

 The main purpose of implementation of this project is to increase productivity of ATM

machines by helping the bank employees to take smart decisions with the help of
Technology (IoT and AI)
Conclusion

• We have proposed a IoT and AI based ATM security system for increasing Safety and productivity of
ATM machines.
