A Club is an association of persons with some
common objective, usually jointly supported
and meeting periodically.
Private Clubs and Club Membership
Clubs have always restricted their membership.
Private clubs, by their very nature, are selective.

Country Clubs
Primary recreational activity of the country club
is golf, but swimming and tennis are also
standard pursuits.
Country clubs sell both full and partial
memberships.
City Clubs
Promote trade, business, and friendship among
colleagues.
Are found in cities or business districts.

Spas
