 What is ICT?
Information and communication
technologies (ICT) is defined as a
diverse set of technological tools
and resources used to transmit,
store, create, share or exchange
information. (UIS. 2009)
- ICT encompasses both the internet-
enabled sphere as well as the mobile
one powered by wireless networks. It
also includes antiquated technologies,
such as landline telephones, radio and
television broadcast (Pratt, 2019)
