INTRODUCTION OF INDUSTRY
Agriculture industry play a important role in India’
economy .
India is a largest producer of the many fresh fruits like
Banana , Mango, Papaya etc.
Also produce like – milk, chili paper, ginger, etc and we
are second largest producer of the Rice and Wheat.
India is ranked under the world’s five largest producer of
over 80% of agriculture produce items. Including coffee
and cotton.

Agriculture industry helps in grow of Indian economy, In
last decade Indian GDP grow faster than 50 year. Indian
economy is depends on the agriculture.
Agriculture sector contributes in Indian economy 17% of
the total GDP
Agriculture sector provide employment to over 60% of
the population.
ISSUES AND CHALLENGES
Now days agriculture face lots of problems like – Land and man power reduce in last
10 year.

 Loss of agriculture land - Some reason for the loss agriculture land
 Factories
 Highways
 Landslides

 Climate changes - climate change will contribute to existing long term


environmental problems

 Increase Temperature

Supply and demand – The world will soon have more
than 9 million people living on it and each of them need to
be feed.
Food demand of the world is more than you think.
Many farmers do not have this resource to meet the
demand

Vertical farming – In the vertical farming grow more
food with less space.
Vertical farming is the practice of growing crops in
vertically stacked layers.

Soil moisture sensors measure or estimate the amount of

RFID help various involved stakeholders to track and
monitor their agriculture commodities minutely. RFID
tags have large amount of the data storage space
Limitations of the industry
1. Environmental problems.
2. Large scale use of agro chemicals.
3. Deforestation.
4. Traditional farmers are unable to gain enough profits
and less job creation.
5. Supply and demand.
CONCLUSION
Agriculture is a diverse industry with very specific
location connections. Certain crops can only be grow in
specific location where the combination of variety of
factors including soil, moisture, temperature etc.
Agriculture industry balance the relation between the
human and environmental factors.
Agriculture industry have a power of feed each and
everyone on the planet.
