What is IOT

 Short form of ‘Internet of Things’

 Network of physical objects embeded with sensors , module,
softwares etc to develope a System on purpose to exchange data with
other devices over the internet
 To reduce cost on labor and to develope more effective monitoring
system it’s automation is benefcial
IOT in Rice Production

 To develope a Smart automative monitoring and controlling system

 Measuring soil moisture, ph level, light intensity to apply proper
amount of fertilizer and supply wáter
 Automation on power supply and run motor based on accuired and
analyzed data through sensors

Soil Moisture Measuring Module :

To measure the water content in soil moisture measuring module is

used.
Use capacitence to measure the wáter content

Temperature Sensor :

By detecting change in electrical resistanes convert

thermal energy to electrical sensor

Light Intensity Sensor

Converts light energy to electrical signal

PH Sensor :
Consists of a pH electrode and amplifier circuit
Measures ph level which helps to apply exact
level of fertilizer.

Gas Sensor :
MQ 7 gas sensor measures the presense of CO2,
N2 etc.

Conclusion
Integrating the system with automated irrigation systems could further
optimize water usage by allowing the system to automatically control
the irrigation process. This would remove the need for manual
intervention and reduce the risk of human error, resulting in improved
efficiency and consistency in crop irrigation.
