 INTRODUCTION
Vegetable cutting machine is a machine which is
designed to automate the process of
Cutting,Slicing,Dicing and chopping various types of
vegetables.Examples of vegetables are spinach,Chinese
cabbage
 PROBLEM STATEMENT
Vegetable cutting is a daily domestic task which
takes up a lot of time,effort and lack of
safety.Different people design vegetable cutting
machine where some of them are still hand
operated which is not safe method to avoid
contamination to vegetables example knife also
automatic vegetable cutting machine is too
expensive to be affordable by many people.
 MAIN OBJECTIVE
Design and manufacture of vegetable cutting
machine
 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
i. To study the existing vegetable cutting
machine
ii. To design the vegetable cutting machine
iii. To manufacture the vegetable cutting machine
prototype
iv. To test the vegetable cutting machine
prototype
 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE
PROJECT
i. Vegetable are protected against flies,pests and dust
ii. Large and small pieces of vegetables will be cut
iii. Cutting is safe since the rotating blades will be
inside the vessel.
iv. It saves time since it can cut large amount of
vegetable in a short period of time
