EXTRUDE TERMINATION OPTION
• Distance:
• Extrudes the profile based on the distance keyed-in.

on feature’s change.
EXTRUDE TERMINATION OPTION
• All:
• Extrudes the profile through all features of the part.
• This is maintained even when the features changes.

EXTRUDE TERMINATION OPTION
• To Next:
• Extrudes the profile to the next possible face or plane.
• Profile must fully enclose in the area to which it is
projecting.
EXTRUDE TERMINATION OPTION
• To:
• Extrudes the profile to terminate on the selected face,
plane or point.
• If the selected termination face does not completely
enclose the extrusion profile, the default selected
Extended Face option will terminate the feature on the
extended face.

 Shortcut: R
Revolve Dialog Box: Revolve Mini-toolbar:

Select Revolve Axis

Select Revolve Profile


REVOLVE TOOL
 Revolved feature: Its revolve axis is recommended to be
defined as Centreline linetype.
 Dimensions added between the centreline and other
sketch geometry will be treated as diameter dimensions.

Use the Centerline tool


(Sketch Tab > Format Panel)
to change selected sketch line
to a construction centreline.
REVOLVE TERMINATION OPTION
• Angle:
• Revolves the profile at a specified angle around an
axis.
OPERATION OPTION
• Join:

• Adds the volume created by the extruded feature to


another feature or body.
OPERATION OPTION
• Cut:

• Removes the volume created by the extruded feature


from another feature or body.
OPERATION OPTION
• Intersect:

• Removes the volume created by the extruded feature


from another feature or body.
