• European traditions for Christmas are common
• In some areas there are also some unique customs
CROATIA
Saint Nicholas Day- December 6th • Fairly light- cod
• Kids are cleaning their shoes and • Salted sardines

Main meal for Christmas dinner: Gourmetten- hot grill in the middle of
the table with raw meat, fish and veggies
• Santa Claus= Kerstman is believed to come from Finland on Christmas
Eve and deliver small gifts.
