R VERBS •Regular verbs in the past simple form follow a consistent
pattern by adding "-ed" to the base form of the verb. Here
are some examples of regular verbs in their base form and
their past simple form:
SOME EXAMPLES:
•Call:
•Base form: call
•Past simple: called
•Example: "She called her parents to tell them the good
news."

•Like:
•Base form: like
•Past simple: liked
•Example: "He liked the book that he read last week."

•Clean:
•Base form: clean
•Past simple: cleaned
•Example: "She cleaned the entire house arrived. "before
