THE SERVICES THAT ARE INCLUDED IN THE
MAINTENANCE OF THE AIR CONDITIONING ARE:

- Review of the air conditioning

drain.
- Review of the refrigeration circuit.
- Replacement of refrigerant gas.
- Review and cleaning of the outdoor
unit.
PRESENT SIMPLE:
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO CHANGE AIR CONDITIONING
FILTERS? AND WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HAVING CLEAN AIR
CONDITIONING FILTERS?
• The filter, although sometimes it is not given enough attention, is a very important
component for the proper functioning of the air conditioning, for two reasons: to
ensure that the device works correctly and for the health of the user (quality of the air
we breathe). The main function of the filter is to trap dust, mites, pollen and polluting
particles. If the filter is dirty, the air that we are going to drive, whether hot or cold,
can contain contaminants, bad odors and even dirt. Not cleaning air conditioning
filters can cause health problems.
• BENEFITS OF HAVING CLEAN FILTERS:
• • Improves air quality.
• • Avoid allergic diseases.
• • Reduces the percentage of diseases generated by pathogenic microorganisms.
• • Eliminates bad odors
PRESENT PASSIVE VOICE:
WHAT HAVE BEEN THE CONSEQUENCES OF NOT REPAIRING AIR
CONDITIONING LEAKS?
The air conditioning leaks are in good working order
thanks to the plant operator for the respective
maintenance.
Decrease the usefulness of the equipment, causing small
instability to breathe in the installed area.
There would also be consequences in general, such as
bacteria being dispersed in the air, affecting health,
causing diseases such as pharyngitis, fever, etc.
The air conditioning leaks are in good working order
thanks to the plant operator for the respective
maintenance.
TECHNICAL VOCABULARY:
WHAT ARE THE PARTS OF THE AIR CONDITIONER AND WHAT IS ITS
FUNCTION?
To begin with, there are several basic components of an air conditioning system that allow it to provide
cooling or heating as needed.
Expansion valves are composed of Valve Body, Expansion Orifice, Valve Stem, Valve Spring,
Diaphragm, Adjusting Nut, Valve Seal, and Valve Seal.
Types of thermostats.
The mechanical thermostat, The digital thermostat, Among others.
But this time we will focus on the parts of the digital thermostat these are Type of input sensor
Type of output required
Number and type of outputs
In this case the thermostat allows programming the temperature at any time of the day or for the desired
time interval. They can also be programmed based on the routines of the people living in the house,
known as programmable thermostats.
Compressor: Mechanical parts Piston, Rotary screw, Scroll Refrigerant gas: Refrigerant gases are
elements used to cool a certain area of refrigeration systems, such as freezers or air conditioners.
RELATIVE CLAUSE:
WHAT ARE THE TASKS THAT THE ANNUAL MAINTENANCE OF THE AIR
CONDITIONING SHOULD INCLUDE?
• The annual maintenance of the air conditioning is essential to guarantee its efficiency, prolong its useful life
and maintain the quality of the air in your space. Here are some common steps to take during annual air
conditioning maintenance:
1. Cleaning or changing filters: Dirty air filters reduce system efficiency and can affect indoor air quality.
2. Coil Cleaning: Evaporator and condenser coils can accumulate dirt over time. It is important to clean these
coils to maintain proper heat transfer and avoid cooling problems.
3. Refrigerant Check: An inadequate refrigerant level may indicate a leak in the system or a problem with the
initial charge.
4. Inspection of electrical components: The electrical components of the system, such as cables, connectors
and contactors, should be checked to identify risk of electrical failures.
5. Motor and Bearing Lubrication: Fan motors and bearings may require periodic lubrication to ensure smooth
and quiet operation.
6. Drain Check: Clogged drain can cause leaks or damage to the system.
7. Bump Test: Once all of the above steps have been completed, a bump test is performed on the system to
ensure that it is cooling properly.
