    PRINTER

    A printer is an output device that


    produces paper copies (hard copies)
    of the documents or data that can be
    viewed on a computer screen.
    SCREEN

    A computer screen (also called a


    monitor or display) is the most used
    computer output device. This electronic
    visual display provides instant feedback
    by showing you text and graphic images
    as you work or play.
    KEYBOARD

    The computer keyboard is an input


    device and the most general way to
    enter data. The keyboard is a direct
    line of communication between the
    user and the computer. Keyboards
    can be used to enter letters, numeric
    characters and instructions to other
    parts of the computer for processing.
    MOUSE

    A computer mouse is an input device


    that is used to point, click, drag and
    select items on the computer screen. A
    mouse allows you to quickly move
    around on the screen by means of a
    mouse pointer.
    WEBCAM
    Webcams are input devices
    that feed its images in real
    time to a computer or
    computer network.
    SPEAKERS

    Speakers are output devices that


    transmit sound from the computer.
    Sound can be generated from various
    devices, for example the CD-ROM or
    an application.
