Shawn Mendes (Born August 8, 1998) first gained attention
after posting a six-second version of the ending theme song on
the social media app Vine. He was later noticed by manager
Andrew Gertler and the Island record label who signed him to a
record deal. Shawn Mendes' first album "Handwriting" was the
#1 chart in 2015.
Early years
Shawn Mendes was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His
mother was a real estate agent and his father sold restaurant
supplies.
His father is of Portuguese descent, and his mother is English.
Shawn Mendes attended Pine Ridge High School in Pickering,
Ontario, Canada just east of Toronto.
In 2013, Shawn Mendes first started posting videos on the social
media app Vine. Within a few months, it gained millions of
views. On his sixteenth birthday in 2014, he was the third most
followed musician on Vine. He was first discovered by manager
Andrew Gertler seven months earlier in January 2014. "Life Of
the Party," Shawn Mendes' first single, was released in June
2014. It opened at #24 on the Billboard Hot 100 making Shawn
Mendes, age 15, the youngest artist who ever debuted in the top
25.
Personal life
Shawn Mendes has remained close to his family despite his
fame. He has a younger sister named Aaliyah. In 2015, he was
rumored to be dating Camila Cabello of the girl group Fifth
Harmony.
They recorded the 20 chart hit single "I Know What You Did Last
Summer" together.It was a hit rising to the top 20 on the US pop
chart. In 2016, Shawn Mendes revealed that he does not have a
girlfriend and explained in interviews the difficulties of
maintaining a romantic relationship as a pop star. She told
Billboard magazine, "The second I feel about a girl that I feel
about music is when I know."
Shawn Mendes sees male pop stars Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran, Bruno
Mars, and John Mayer as major influences. He has been celebrated for his
"good guy" approach to pop music creating a distinct niche for himself
aside from Justin Bieber's tabloid "bad boy" antics. In 2016, Shawn
Mendes received an American Music Award nomination for New Artist of
the Year. In just four years, she has received sixteen Teen Choice Awards
nominations.
Mendes proved that social media is a powerful force in launching and
sustaining the careers of pop stars. Its fame has gone beyond the Vine app
which brought it to wide acclaim. Vine stopped actively accepting new
posts in January 2017.
Shawn Mendes shows that teen pop artists can maintain popularity
without tabloids or excessive stage production. Each of his three concert
tours has been bigger than the last.
The "Illuminate World Tour," his most recent, covered much of Europe and
North America for a total of sixty shows. It made over $35 million at the
box office selling most of the dates. Time Magazine named Shawn one of
the "25 Most Influential Teens" in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
Justin Bieber is a singer from Stratford, Ontario, Canada. Bieber
was born March 14, 1994 in London with the full name Justin
Drew Bieber. He started his professional career via YouTube,
when Scooter Braun, now his manager, discovered his talent.
Braun flew Bieber to Atlanta, Georgia to consult with Usher and
thereafter signed with record company Island Records.
In July 2009, Bieber's debut single "One Time" was released.
The single reached number 12 on the Canadian Hot 100 and
position 26 on the Billboard Hot 100. He is currently working on
his debut album, “My World”, which will be released November
17, 2009. Bieber was 12 years old when he entered a singing
competition. in Stratford, and got second place. He learned to
play musical instruments such as piano, drums, guitar, and
trumpet by himself. In late 2007 Justin and his mother started
posting videos to YouTube so his family and friends could watch
him sing. The songs he sings are songs originally sung by famous
singers such as Usher, Stevie Wonder, Ne-Yo, Justin Timberlake,
and Michael Jackson.
Biber's parents are divorced, and Bieber has a half-sister named
Jazmyn. Bieber now lives in Atlanta, Georgia, Usher's
hometown, with his mother to achieve his dream of a career in
music. His friend in Atlanta, Christian Beadles, also frequently
posts videos to YouTube. Bieber admitted that he was dating
Christian's sister, a girl named Caitlin, but he also said that they
had broken up. Bieber is currently working on his debut album
project, "My World", which will be released November 17, 2009.
The album will feature guest vocals Usher, who also appears in
his music video, “One Time”. Bieber is also actively promoting
his single and has appeared on several TV and radio shows. His
first single, "One Time" peaked at number 12 on the Canadian
Hot 100 and number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100.
At a young age he has also won several awards, including a
Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording. With an estimated
100 million sales, Justin Bieber is the best-selling Canadian male
artist, as well as one of the best-selling music artists in the
world. His single "Baby" holds the record for the highest
certified digital song of all time.
He has had several legal troubles, including being accused of
reckless driving in 2012 and vandalism in 2013.
Justin was finally arrested on January 23, 2014, in Miami Beach,
Florida, for driving under the influence (DUI). After being
released on bond, he was arrested again in September 2014 for
dangerous driving.
Since he was a child, he was interested in music and learned to
play the piano, drums, guitar and trumpet.
Maher Zain is an Islamic musician, a Swedish singer and music
producer from Lebanon born in 1982 in Lebanon. Men of Arab
and European descent who come with Islamic-breathing songs
wrapped in catchy but immersive modern and pop music. He
also lived temporarily in the United States. His debut album
Thank You Allah, with 13 tracks and two bonus tracks was
released on November 1, 2009, with an exclusive Percussion
Version and a French Version released shortly thereafter.
His family moved to Sweden when Maher was eight years old,
where he continued his education. Maher got his first keyboard
when he was ten years old. He then entered the University and
earned a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering. During
his teenage years, he enjoyed spending late nights at school
with his friends where they would sing, rap, write and
experiment with music. Some of the mother's family are also
singers. But while in the music world, Maher Zain learned a lot
from Red One. But the world of music that he was involved in
that offered many luxuries made him feel that something was
missing, and that something was wrong. In the end Maher Zain
found the answer to his doubts in music after he met and joined
the Muslim Community in Stockholm. Since then Maher Zain
has been active in activities carried out at the mosque and he
feels this is where a home means to him
Maher's flagship single, "Insha Allah" and "The Chosen One",
became hits everywhere, including in Indonesia. Video clip
"Insha Allah". He is the first Muslim artist to reach 1 million fans
on Facebook within 1 year since his debut album was released.
In Indonesia alone, there are more than 4000 Maher Zain fans
who are members of MZIFC (Maher Zain Indonesia Fans Club).

name Skinnyfabs became widely known since a video of him
speaking English with a thick British accent went viral on social
