The expression of “Like” and “Dislike” are usually followed by Verb-ing

• She doesn’t like going outside during her free time.
• He hates going outside during his free time.
After the verbs "hate, "love", "like" or "can't bear" we can usually use both the
"Verb–ing" or "to + verb" pattern.

• I love going outside during my free time // I love to go outside during my free time.
• I like going outside during my free time // I like to go outside during my free time.
• She can’t bear going outside during her free time // She can’t bear to go outside during
her free time
• He hates going outside during his free time // He hates to go outside during his free
time.
If you neither like nor dislike something:
• “I don’t mind doing the housework on the weekend”.
• “My brother doesn’t mind doing the housework on the weekend”.
• “They don’t mind doing the housework on the weekend”.

Note that “very much” & “a lot” always come after the things you
like:
• “I like playing badminton very much”.
• “My brother adores reading comics a lot ”.
• “They love watching movie very much”.

ROUTINE ACTIVITIES

During the weekdays, I usually wake up at 6.30 a.m. I sometimes


lie in bed for five minutes but then I have to get up. I have
breakfast at 7.30 a.m. After that, i prepare to go to campus/work. I
regularly study/work from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. I leave work around
4.15 p.m. and get home about 5 p.m.

I had lunch at 1 p.m and dinner around 7 p.m. Next, I take a


shower. I wash my hair three or four times a week. In the evening,
I do my works until 10 p.m. At 10.30 p.m., I go to sleep and be
ready to face new experience for tomorrow.
LEISURE ACTIVITIES

When weekend is coming, it is a happiness to me. On the


weekend, I like to wake up a little bit late because I don’t have to
go to campus/work. I like getting up at 7 a.m.

In my free time, I dislike to go crowded places. I like staying at


home. I love to spend my spare times by watching movies in the
TV. Besides, I like listening to the music or reading books. I enjoy
my leisure activities during the weekend because I can do
everyhting that I cannot do during the weekdays.
