We will learn:
to communicate activities in progress at the time of speaking, at
one point time in the past, and at one point in the future, in order
- to share the information with others, and
- to give an explanation.

• to describe an action which was in progress at a
special time in the past
• to describe an unfinished action that was
interrupted by another event or action
• to describe two action which were happening at the
same time (the action do not influence each other)

 Use:
 To talk about actions happening now, at
the moment.

Past Continuous & Past tense
 We often use the past continuous tense with the simple
past tense. We use the past continuous tense to express
a long action. And we use the past tense to express a
short action that happens in the middle of the long
action .
