the Philippines
Philippines has the third highest rate of mental health problems in the Western Pacific Region.

3.6 million Filipinos suffering from at least one type of mental, neurological, or substance use
conditions.

According to World Health Organization (WHO), Depression affects more than 3 million
Filipinos, 3.1 million Filipinos suffer from anxiety disorders (2017), and 1.7 million
Filipinos substance users (DDB, 2019).

Mental Illnesses are the third most prevalent forms of morbidity in the country.
