Monokote
Balso wood
Ochroma pyramidale, commonly
known as the balsa tree, is a
large, fast-growing tree native to
the Americas. It is the sole
member of the genus Ochroma.
The tree is famous for its wide
usage in woodworking, due to its
softness and its high strength
compared to its low density.
Spruce
A spruce is a tree of the genus Picea, a
genus of about 35 species of coniferous
evergreen trees in the family Pinaceae,
found in the northern temperate and
boreal regions of the Earth. Picea is the
sole genus in the subfamily Piceoideae.
Japanica wood
japonica is a very large, conical, evergreen
monoecious tree that can reach up to 70
m (230 ft) in height with a trunk diameter
of up to 4 m (13 ft). It is a fast growth tree
that prefers moist, deep and well-drained
soils. The bark is reddish-brown, fibrous
and peels off in vertical strips.
Play wood
Plywood is a composite material manufactured
from thin layers, or "plies", of wood veneer that
are glued together with adjacent layers, having
their wood grain rotated up to 90° to one
another.
Cement
A cement is a binder, a chemical substance
used for construction that sets, hardens, and
adheres to other materials to bind them
together. Cement is seldom used on its own,
but rather to bind sand and gravel together
Fast setting exposy
This fast set epoxy gives good
resistance to water, salt spray and
bases, and most organic solvents. The
offered fast set epoxy is use to bond
paper, wood, metal, most plastics, and
ceramics. This fast set epoxy is known
among customers due to its resistant
to water.
Cynoacrylates glue
Cyanoacrylates are a family of strong fast-
acting adhesives with industrial, medical,
and household uses. They are derived
from ethyl cyanoacrylate and related
esters. The cyanoacrylate group in the
monomer rapidly polymerizes in the
presence of water to form long, strong
chains.
Fiberglass
Glassmakers throughout history
have experimented with glass
fibers, but mass manufacture of
glass fiber was only made possible
with the invention of finer
machine tooling. In 1893, Edward
Drummond Libbey exhibited a
dress at the World's Columbian
Exposition incorporating glass
fibers with the diameter and
texture of silk fibers. Glass fibers
Monokote
MonoKote is commercially available
lightweight plastic shrink wrap film
available in various colors. It has a
heat-activated adhesive on one side
and is used to cover the surfaces of a
model aircraft. The material is cut to
size and applied to the airframe
surfaces using a hobby iron and heat
gun.
