What is Hyper-Poetry

Hyper Poetry
• Digital poetry that uses links and hypertext mark-
up
• It can either involved set words, phrases, lines,
etc. that are presented in variable order but sit on
the page much as traditional poetry does, or it can
contain parts of the poem that move and
transform.
• It is usually found online, through CD-ROM and
diskette versions exist. The earliest examples date
to no later than the mid-1980’s.
How to create a Hyper-poetry using
PowerPoint presentation?
• Plan your poetry. Think about the theme,
the emotions you want to convey, and the
overall structure.
• Create a new PowerPoint presentation.
Choose a design template or create a
custom background that complements the
mood and theme of your poetry.
• Design the title slide. You can include
relevant images or artistic backgrounds to
enhance the visual impact.
• Create individual slides for each line or
verse. Keep the design consistent to
maintain coherence throughout your
presentation.
• Add hyperlinks: select the text or
object you want to link, go to the
“insert” tab, click on “hyperlink,”
and choose the option that suits
your purpose. You can link to
other slides within the
presentation, external websites,
related media files, or even audio
and video elements.
• Incorporate multimedia element:
you can insert relevant images,
videos, animations, or audio files
that complement the text and
engage the audience’s senses.
• Apply animations and transitions:
experiment with different effects to
bring your words to life.
• Test and revise: once you’ve
completed your hyper poetry
presentation, go through it multiple
times to ensure that the flow,
rhythm, and visual elements align
with your intentions.
• Present and share: once you are
done, save it and prepare to present
it to an audience. You can also share
the PowerPoint file or export it as a
video file to distribute it online or
through other platforms.

• Author: MICHAEL A. GANDOLA
I don't know why,
And I am uncertain of
something.
I don't know how,
But I am lacking of
anything.

Unanswered questions,
unreaveling truth.

be,
For one who does not the

I always pretend that I am
okey,
Showing others that I am
strong and happy.
But in the other side, in
reality,
This is me,
weak and lonely...
