    SURVEY THE SCENE The scene is safe, there is only one victim. Im Yohan, a trained first aider, may I help? (wait for response) CHECK: RESPONSIVENESS (tap shoulder 2x) Hey! Hey! Maam/Sir are you okay?

    ACTIVATE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE OR TRANSFER FACILITIES Help! Please activate medical assistance or call ambulance and report back to me as I asses the victim PRIMARY SURVEY OF THE VICTIM CHECK : AIRWAY (Head Tilt Chin Lift Maneuver) Adult : Maximum Head Tilt Chin Lift position Child : Neutral Position Infant : Neutral Position The mouth and nose are clear, there are no obstructions

    CHECK : BREATHING (Look, Listen and Feel) 10 seconds (count: 1, 10002, 1003, 1004, 1005) If victim is breathless, give 2 initial ventilations
    *then count 10 seconds as you also perform checking of circulation.

    If: ( ) pulse and ( ) breathing = CPR If: ( + ) pulse but ( ) breathing = RB

    CHECK : CIRCULATION (locate pulse) 10 seconds (count: 1, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005, 1006, 1007, 1008, 1009, 1010) Adult : carotid pulse Child : carotid pulse Infant : brachial pulse

    If the victim has no signs of circulation and no breathing: Please follow up medical assistance and report back to me as I do CPR. ADULT/CHILD/INFANT: CPR 5 cycles (30 compressions: 2 breaths) 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20 & 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 5 & 6 & 7 & 8 & 9 and 1 2 breaths 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20 & 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 5 & 6 & 7 & 8 & 9 and 2 2 breaths 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20 & 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 5 & 6 & 7 & 8 & 9 and 3 2 breaths 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20 & 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 5 & 6 & 7 & 8 & 9 and 4 2 breaths 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20 & 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 5 & 6 & 7 & 8 & 9 and 5 2 breaths Recheck the breathing and circulation (10 seconds) (count: 1, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005, 10606, 1007, 1008, 1009, 1010) If the victim has signs of circulation but not breathing: Please follow up medical assistance and report back to me as I do RESCUE BREATHING.     SECONDARY SURVEY OF THE VICTIM If the victim has signs of circulation and breathing: The victim is revived! Do the recovery position and head to toe examination and continue monitor the victim until medical Assistance arrives.
