What are Input Devices

 In short It is any hardware device that sends data to a computer.


Examples of input devices are:

1. Keyboards

2. Sensors

3. Joystick

4. Mouse etc.

Pointing devices

 A generic term for any device

used to control the movement

of a cursor on a computer

screen. E.g.. Mouse, Touchpad,

Trackerball etc.

Keyboard

gaming.
Touch screens

 It is a display screen that is

used both a an input and

output device and can respond

to a user interacting with it


Sensors

 A device which detects and

responds to some type of input

from the environment e.g.

light, temperature, motion etc.

Some types of sensors are

pressure sensor and light sensor
